Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (IATA: BWI, ICAO: KBWI) serves the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area in the United States. It is commonly referred to as BWI or BWI Airport, after its IATA Airport Code. The airport is located in Linthicum, an unincorporated area of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In 2006 the airport served a record 20.7 million passengers, up nearly five percent from 2005 and besting the previous high set in 2001. BWI is a major focus city for Southwest Airlines.

    At least the WiFi connection was highly rated as excelent. But, yeah, it sucks sometimes when you have to pay for WiFi connection. :p

    Ridiculous to not have free wifi. I don’t travel often enough to warrant paying for boingo, but I would love the ability to use the Internet while I wait for my delayed flight.

    What a bunch of crap. If I have to pay for everything under the sun with the airlines and a bowl of noodles cost $10.95. WiFi should be free for the small time I use it.
    Disappointed…..

    No surprise that WiFi is fee-based at this airport…..it’s in close proximity to DC, and the current “Buck Stops Here” guy is interested in all of our bucks!

    Annoyed that wi-fi is not free here, will choose another hub next time.
