United Airline offers paper less boarding

United Airline offers paper less boarding

United has recently begun offering air passengers with web-capable smart phone to receive an email from the airline which include the 2-dimensional barcode that can be used to scan and board United flights. The passenger can bring up the bar code which has in it the flight, seating and gate information. This bar code can now be use at the security check points and the gates of several major U.S. airports including Chicago’s O’Hare International and Dallas-Fort Worth International.
With the paperless boarding pass service you can now have fewer things to carry around at the airport. Another benefit that you gain with using the mobile barcode boarding pass is that if your flight information changes, your bar code get refresh with the latest information automatically (assuming that your smart phone is connected to the web via mobile of WiFi service.)
