Joe Hansbauer has reported on TheNati (Cincinnati Blog News) that Lily Pad has recently been awarded the contract to provide Free WiFi service at the wifi at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Currently, a pay WiFi service provided by T-Mobile is available in parts of the airport.

In the move to start over with a Free-Based WiFi service, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport has awarded Lily Pad to provide Free WiFi service to the ticketing, baggage claim, Terminal 2 and Comair sections of the airport.

This is a great news many of the business and casual travelers that frequent CVG airport. Hopefully CVG’s move to a Free-Based WiFi service will be a trendsetter for many airports to follow.
