Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (IATA: MSP, ICAO: KMSP) is the largest and busiest airport in the five-state upper Midwestern region of Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. In terms of passengers, Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport is the twelfth largest in the United States (2006),[1] and nineteenth largest airport in the world[2] (2005). It straddles the southern border of the cities of Saint Paul, Minnesota and Minneapolis, Minnesota, but is mostly located in the Census-designated place of Fort Snelling, Minnesota. The terminal exits of the airport are minutes away from the Mall of America; careful flight pattern planning ensures that aircraft never fly over the mall at low altitude. It is a major hub for Northwest Airlines, Champion Air, Sun Country Airlines, and Northwest’s Airlink partners Mesaba Airlines and Pinnacle Airlines, all of which except Pinnacle are headquartered nearby. Northwest accounts for more than 80% of the airport’s passenger traffic. It is operated by the Metropolitan Airports Commission, which also handles operation of six smaller airports in the region.

I would love to see the day when MSP offers free wi-fi! Or the Airline offer it as part of their wifi package- like when I’m flying Southwest, and I know I am going to get the wifi for a longer flight- I wish it could begin in the terminal. Come one Airlines, get with the program! I sure would not want the Boingo thing, just for the 2 hours of the waiting.

I really agree with Debra – in this day and age, when I can get free wifi at a coffee shop, how can this airport justify paid WIFI?? Ridiculous.

I’ve traveled many other airports that offer free wi-fi years ago, you did not need to complete a survey in order to get the “free wi-fi”, and there were no time limits with very decent speeds. MN ranks #6 on highest tax states list, and now MSP just starts offering “free wi-fi” with catch, what a shame! Sorry, Minnesotans…

I used wifi on Jan 17,2013 when I visited my son who is studying in Wisconsin, but I paid wifi cost every month until May. I asked you to pay back through Korean credit company and I received it around June. I probably agreed with your conditions to pay it reguraly. I stopped my credit card’s settlement in oveseas countries since May. I resumed my credit card so that I can ues in foreign countries since July because I felt it’s ok by getting the money I paid to you. But the wifi cost was paid in July as soon as I set free settlement in overseas countries. I have to stop settlement once more since July. How can I cancel the automatic payment conditions with you? Please let me know. I have not visited MSP since Jan. this year. My email address is ycshin10@naver.com
